The complex reaction of zinc in the zinc plating solution of ACSR:
Zinc oxide is the main salt of alkaline zincate zinc plating. It is a white powder, insoluble in water.
Sodium hydroxide is a strong alkali, there are two kinds of flake and granular, the former is commonly known as flake alkali, the latter is commonly known as granular alkali. It has double functions in the plating solution: conduction and complexation. Sodium hydroxide is a kind of strong electrolyte, which is completely ionized in the aqueous solution. At the same time, it can form a coordination body with zinc ion to make the insoluble sodium hydroxide dissolve in the solution.
According to the concentration of sodium hydroxide, zinc oxide and sodium hydroxide can form three different forms of soluble complex in the plating solution. Because there is a large amount of free sodium hydroxide in the zincate zinc plating solution, the complex form of zinc and sodium oxide exists, and the complex exists stably in the steel core aluminum strand zinc plating solution.
