The appearance quality of ACSR is often affected by scratches and oil stains on the conductor surface
1. Scratch on conductor surface
Continuous scratch of conductor is the most common cause of corona, and corona is one of the most important causes of power loss in power system. In order to avoid the occurrence of wire scratch, the following aspects should be controlled in the production: first, consider from the conductor itself. First, ensure that the aluminum rod is not damped, which causes the aluminum chips in the working area of the drawing die hole to stay, and the lubricating oil can not all enter the working area, so that the aluminum wire pulled out is not round and smooth. The second is to ensure that the drawing oil is clean and free of moisture. In the process of wire drawing, the drawing oil is in a high temperature state when it enters the working area from the lubricating area. If there is certain moisture in the drawing oil, the lubricating oil will be diluted, and the lubricating effect will be greatly reduced, resulting in wire scratch and aluminum wire break.
2. Greasy dirt on the conductor surface
The steel cored aluminum strand for overhead transmission lines is often questioned or even returned by customers due to surface quality problems, which is mainly caused in the drawing process. The main reasons are as follows:
(1) . the size of the finished drawing die is too large, the compression ratio is small, and the working area of the drawing die is short, which is not enough to remove the greasy dirt on the wire surface;
(2) The temperature of lubricating grease is too low, the viscosity is large, and it is not easy to play, so that the drawing oil adheres to the surface of aluminum wire;
(3) . the felt at the outlet of the finished mold is too dirty;
(4) . when stranding, the stranding body or traction wheel is too dirty;
(5) There is too much water under the traction wheel.
In view of the above reasons, in order to avoid the occurrence of oil contamination on the surface of the conductor, the appropriate drawing die should be selected during drawing, and the temperature of the lubricating grease should be adjusted; the wiping felt should be replaced frequently, and the strand equipment and die should be kept clean without oil contamination.
